Expressions of Interest are invited for participating in an internship programme as partial requirements for engineering degrees or for career readiness.
In the current challenging economic environment, we have seen firsthand how tough it can be trying to find a company who is willing to take on students for vacation work, even unpaid positions. We understand that there are a significant number of engineering students out there just like you who are still looking.
In order to fill that gap, we at BDK have used our extensive network in various industries to identify and secure industrial partners, both here locally in Perth and overseas in China, who have the vision to help us help you.
You will be working with companies in the forefront of their fields to gain that vital exposure and experience in the real world of engineering before you embark on a life-long journey in the profession of your choice. Or you may simply want to test-out an industry before deciding on a career path. With the right attitude, some hard work and a little bit of luck it will lead you to that dream job. We help open the doors and you can make it happen.
For those of you who may be a little more adventurous and want to stretch outside of your comfort zone you will have the opportunities to combine work experience with travels; to open your eyes as well as your mind. Be it the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Warriors, the magnificent contrast of old and new in Shanghai, or simply the people, the language and the culture that you’re fascinated with, there is something for you.
Those of you interested and willing will have the opportunities to join the team to give something back and help your fellow students who may be on a similar journey like yours.
