Joining PM&C will allow candidates to contribute to providing advice to the Prime Minister and Cabinet on all aspects of Australian life. The Department’s expertise spans Indigenous affairs, social and women’s policy, economic and international policy, defence, national security and everything in between. We are looking for people from a variety of academic disciplines with diverse backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex people; Culturally and Linguistically Diverse people; mature age graduates and people with disability.

The 2019 Graduate Program is an 18 month program with all positions located in Canberra. Rotations throughout the program are undertaken in our National Office and there is also the opportunity to work in our Regional Network in areas such as Ceduna, Nhulunbuy, Katherine and Mt Isa.
