In 2020, The Department of Defence Graduate Program will be offering unique and exciting opportunities as part of the Maritime Engineering and Naval Construction graduate Stream. This rewarding opportunity is open to engineering and naval architecture students.

  • How your STEM qualification can lead to a career in maritime shipbuilding for Australia’s future ships and submarine fleet;

  • An opportunity to engage with intelligence and STEM graduates via an interactive Q&A panel.
  • Information regarding the Department of Defence career opportunities within the Future Ships and Submarines Programs;
  • An opportunity to hear from graduates who have completed the Defence Graduate Program – ‘A day in the Life’ presentations; and
  • The benefits the Department of Defence offers as an employer and the graduate program opportunities available, including work placements around Australia (particularly Adelaide and Perth) and possibly overseas (France).
