The Max Planck Summer Internship Program provides the opportunity for highly motivated Bachelor and Master students to join one of the labs at the at the Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology (link is external) and the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry (link is external) to conduct a 10-week summer research internship project.
The fully funded program will allow you to become familiar with different scientific approaches and advanced laboratory methods. The aim of our internship program is to provide excellent students with a broad range of research experiences and knowledge to promote them early on in their career.
Research Areas and Labs
You can indicate up to five of our research groups you prefer to work with. Your research will be in fields ranging from structural, computational, developmental and cellular biology to molecular biology, biophysics and neurobiology. Who can Apply?
Highly motivated bachelor’s and master’s students in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Psychology and related fields can apply.
