EY Climate Ideation Clinics

What: EY Climate Ideation Clinics are 2.5-hour, sector-specific, facilitated virtual workshops that challenge students to see the climate emergency through a new lens. University students learn how climate change affects business and how companies are responding to the climate challenge. They then collaborate to ideate solutions to a sector-specific climate change problem statement using design thinking.

Who: This is relevant for any students, however the sector-specific modules mean this may be of particular interest to those studying business, commerce, economics or marketing. (The sector modules cover banking and capital markets, asset management, insurance and consumer products.)
Why: Climate change will impact today’s students to a much larger extent than any generation and they play an important role in accelerating environmental sustainability. Currently, the business world is not sufficiently accessing, mobilising and connecting with students to harness their energy and creativity to address climate change.
