Coders for Causes is a student run organisation at UWA who build software for charities and not-for-profit organisations. Each semester break, they run software projects for students to participate in. During the project periods, students are upskilled with industry technologies required to build the client’s desired software. The projects emulate a professional environment, and students who participate gain valuable technical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills that are invaluable for their future careers. CFC’s projects also provide many students a stepping stone for future career and employment opportunities.

CFC’s projects are a great opportunity to:

- Gain industry experience
- Learn web development, industry tools and technologies
- Apply the knowledge you've gained from your degree (or get ahead in your degree)
- Work as a team and build your network
- Gain volunteering hours (which can contribute to the 450 hour MPE requirements)
- Meet like-minded people

This year’s winter projects will be held from the 25th of June to 30th of July, with weekly project sessions. Fill out the application to get involved and they will be in contact in the coming weeks. https://forms.gle/XrDf77SkYqwHZfN99
